What to bring

I have become pretty good at packing for trips, and always tell myself that if I forget something, I can always buy it wherever I am going. Well packing to move to Australia will be different. It’s not like our move from NJ to MA when the truck only took 2 days to deliver our stuff. There is obviously no truck, so our stuff will be shipped by boat, which takes 8-10 weeks to arrive. We are able to air ship a smaller amount of items that we need right away (kitchen stuff, strollers, toys, clothes) and that takes 8-10 days to arrive. But the timing — when to ship, will it be better off to not have the items on this end, or to be without it when we get there?
I guess there is no right answer, and it will be hard for a few weeks / months until we get all settled.
And still, if there is anything we forgot, or packed away in storage in the US, we can always buy it there, except for Goldfish & Cheerios, apparently they don’t have those in Melbourne.

But one thing is for sure, we are definitely bringing Cameron’s bike with us:

He learned how to ride a 2-wheeler over the weekend!!
